Established in 1934 during the great depression, the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) originally had the singular mission of helping people access affordable housing. However, as the organization matured it broadened its scope to provide recreational, social, and educational services to community members as well. In total, CMHA owns more than 4,500 housing units, serves 13,500 households through its Housing Choice Voucher Program, and serves more than 250,000 people across Ohio and Washington D.C.
CMHA adopted Projectmates out of a need for a collaborative platform to support its large development and renovation efforts. Projectmates' digital bidding processes, in-app invoicing, capital fund management, and multi-schedule tracking will save CMHA time and money by streamlining what were once inefficient processes. Whether they're a director of construction, project manager, contractor, or architect, Projectmates gives all CMHA stakeholders a single location to store, review, and report on construction documents.
